About This Course

The Cultures and Operational Skills program equips students with the essential soft skills, professional competencies, and cultural awareness needed to thrive in the modern workplace. The curriculum focuses on practical skill-building in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional conduct.

The department aims to excel in teaching the fundamentals of the humanities according to the scientific and academic standards adopted by the relevant authorities, through face-to-face, online, and blended lectures, and to serve the community and encourage scientific research in a way that meets the needs of the college's students and the local community regionally and globally.

Developing students' fundamental human skills and knowledge by employing modern educational methods through face-to-face, online, and blended learning models, to serve as a support for departments in preparing graduates equipped with knowledge, skills, and values, who have a local, regional, and international presence, and who are motivated for lifelong learning and capable of keeping pace with the demands of the times and building fruitful partnerships with the local community.

About the Department

The Family Guidance and Empowerment Department is dedicated to preparing qualified specialists in the field of family and social counseling by providing them with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to address various family issues. The department also focuses on developing students' communication, problem-solving, and intervention skills in a manner that meets the needs of the community.

General Objectives
  • Preparing and teaching the college's requirements for all departments and specializations.
  • Developing students' scientific, cultural, linguistic, educational, administrative, and behavioral skills to serve the community.
  • Conducting research in the field of human, intellectual, linguistic, and administrative development, and everything that serves the basic human sciences in their various fields of knowledge.
  • Supervising the preparation and administration of language proficiency exams (Arabic and computer skills) for new students and English.
  • Building fruitful local partnerships that open opportunities for students to implement the practical application of their courses through volunteer work, entrepreneurship, leadership, management, language development, and other aspects that the department is concerned with developing and enhancing among university students.
  • Conducting language training courses for college students and staff.
  • Organizing diverse activities inside and outside the college that enhance the humanistic foundations related to the knowledge fields of the department.
